Mission Statement

The purpose of the organization is to preserve the heritage of the African American community, promote education, and support the
development of the Historical Black School location, which is now the Carmichael Park, in
Oliver Springs, Tennessee.

The Mayme Carmichael School Organization is a non-profit organization that meets at 5:00 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of every month at the Tri-County African American Cultural Museum, 1069 East Tri-County Blvd., Oliver Springs, TN.  Please complete a membership form.  Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
